ARE YOU READY for A NEW AND BETTER YOU?

Are Lash Extensions Right for You?

Almost anyone can enjoy eyelash extensions, but if one or more of the following conditions apply to you, you may not be a good candidate for this service.

  • You do not follow instructions well and are unable to maintain the aftercare guidelines. If you do not understand the requirements before and after the lash application, this is probably not a service for you.
  • You rub your eyes frequently. If you rub your eyes frequently due to allergies, or if rubbing your eyes is just a habit, we do not suggest this service.
  • You have highly sensitive skin. We do not recommend lash extensions if you experience irritation around the eye area after using skincare or makeup.
  • You are sick or feeling ill. If you have a cold or sinus infection, we suggest waiting to get lash extensions until you are feeling 100% better. Illness plays a large role in poor retention of lash extensions.
  • Your natural eyelashes are very curly. If your natural lashes are very curly you are not a good candidate for extensions. Curly lashes tend to dramatically shorten the wear time of lash extensions.
  • You do not have natural eyelashes. If you do not have natural lashes, you will be unable to wear extensions. Extensions must be placed on the natural eyelash, not directly on the skin. Consider using a different form of eyelash treatments.

A general rule of thumb to enjoy and properly maintain eyelash extensions is: the less you touch them, the longer they will last.

It’s important that you do not have any eye makeup on for the appointment. And if possible, please remove any eye make up at least 2-3 hours before the session. Our lash extensions typically last 2-3 week, but if the direction (below) are not closely followed, the duration may be substantially shortened. As well as having multiple back-to-back Fill sessions. We do not guarantee work if you’ve had more than 2 Fill session in a row.

Please let us know if you have any allergies, sensitive skin or any other health or beauty information that you feel we should know. Also, please let us know if you have any questions or concerns we may address before your session. We’ll do our best to make your experience with us a wonderful one!

To maintain this look and extend the life of your lashes:
  • Do not wash eyes or shower and avoid crying, sweat, and steam for 24 hours after lash application. Moisture and heat will weaken the adhesive.
  • Do not swim or spa for 72 hours after lash application to allow adequate time for bonding.
  • Be gentle with your lashes for 72 hours.
  • Avoid rubbing and pulling your eyelashes. This WILL cause the lash extensions and possibly your own lashes to fall off.
  • Do NOT use an eyelash curler on your extensions.
  • Avoid oil-based and waterproof mascara, eyeliner, or other oil-based products around the eye socket. Only our specially formulated mascara for extensions can be   worn. Regular mascara is not recommended for use as it will dissolve the bond with the lashes. Gently remove mascara with water-based eye makeup remover.
  • Apply mascara on the tips only.
  • Avoid any creams, eye makeup removers, lotions, sunscreens or cleansers containing oils on or near eyelashes. Oils can loosen the bond of lash extensions. Care must be taken to apply eye cream sparingly with avoidance of the lash line area.
  • Do NOT use cotton balls or swabs. ONLY use lint-free products around your lashes.
Bottom line: ONLY Use Oil-Free products
  • Extend Your Lashes recommends touch-up appointments every 2-3 weeks, to fill in the areas where the natural lashes has fallen out and new lashes are growing in.
  • Cutting the eyelash extensions is not recommended as you could end up cutting your natural lash.
